Linda Ann Lanier, 68, 1808 Beech Street, Gaffney, SC, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. at her home. She was the daughter of the late Braxton and Hazel McDaniel Moore. She was retired from the textile industry. She was of the Baptist faith and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by two daughters; Michelle Hill and Leslie Wyatt both of Gaffney, SC, two sons; James Lanier of Blacksburg, SC, and Michael Lanier (Amanda) of York, SC., 9 grandchildren and 1 great -grandchild; a sister, Faye Blakney of Wilmington, NC, and an "adopted" daughter, Deborah Cook. Her granddaughter, Jessica Jones served as her caregiver for years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Russell Austell Lanier, Jr., and a sister, Dottie Gorski.
Visitaton will be Friday, February 19, 2016, from 1-1:45 pm at White Columns Funeral Service with the Celebration Of Life Service following at Hambright Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2016, with Rev. Lucky Earls and Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. At other times, they will be at the home.
Pallbearers serving are Douglas Hill, Greg Jones, Greg Jones II, Branson Mills, Dillion Herrin and Butch Hyatt.
