Linda Diane Roberts Moore, 60, of 155 Mount Harmony Court, Lawndale, passed
away Friday, June 17, 2011 at the home of her sister.
Mrs. Moore was born in Gaston County, NC on August 5, 1950 a daughter of the
late John William Roberts, Sr. and Helen Clippard Roberts. She was a
homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and wife.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, John W.
"Billy" Roberts, Jr. and a sister Jane Roberts Penner.
Survivors include her husband, George Kenneth Moore of the home, a son,
Kenny Moore of High Shoals, a daughter Wendy Tyson and husband Doyle of
McAdenville; sisters, Candy Lee Quick and husband Clay of Gastonia, Judy
Anne James of Stanley, Milly Cribb of Iron Station; sister-in-law Paula
Tranthum and husband Scott; three grandchildren, Joshua Venson Moore,
Elizabeth Bumgardner, Shelby Tyson and one great grandchild Madison Grace
Moore.
Visitation for friends and family for Memorial Service will be from 4:00
until 7:00PM on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the home of a sister, Candy Quick,
1003 W. 4th Ave. Gastonia.
