Linda Dianne Hughes Staymate, 74, passed away Friday October 27, 2023 at Peak Resources in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on September 23, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Jack Hughes and Letty Lou Crowe Hughes.

Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gary Staymate.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM November 5, 2023 at Lafayette Street Church with the Rev. Wofford Caughman offering words of encouragement for those in attendance. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Lafayette St Church: 1420 S. Lafayette St. Shelby, NC 28152 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
