SHELBY- Mrs. Linda Digh, 71, a resident of Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Wythe County VA, she was born October 10, 1940, daughter of the late Buford and Rosie Bass Gravley. She worked at Cleveland Regional Medical Center for a time, later she retired from Gaston Memorial Hospital working as a Medical Receptionist at both hospitals.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Digh; four brother and two sisters.
SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Donnie Shelton and special friend January; one daughter, Dreama Piercy, all of Shelby; three sisters, Barbara Burton and husband Daniel of Shelby, Evelyn Easter and husband Edward of Darper VA, pearl Cox and husband Charles of Williamston, SC; three brothers, Doug Gravley and wife Jackie of Newark, OH, BF gravely and wife Thelma of Williamston, SC, Daneal Gravley of Nevada; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
CLERGY: Howard Stroup will be officiating.
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery.
