Linda Earley Edwards, "Mama Linda", 66, of Spindale, died Monday, October 17, 2016 at Oak Grove Healthcare Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter Mary Earley and the late Theron Earley. Linda was the owner of Mama Linda's Home Child Care and a member of Forest Lake Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Edwards; son, Bobby Earley; daughter, Lauren Edwards and fiance' Christopher Coffin; brothers, Bruce Earley and wife Carolyn, Randy Earley and wife Leesa; and a number of nieces and nephews. There are many children who will remember her well as "Mama Linda" who were her joy.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Toney and Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Spindale city cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Lake Baptist Church, 292 Forest Lake Road, Forest City, NC or the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.

The family will be at the home of Lauren Edwards, 3171 Poors Ford Road, Rutherfordton, NC
