Mooresboro - Linda Kay McAbee Hamrick, 65 went to her heavenly home October 2, 2018 at her residence. Born March 16, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Fred McAbee and Essie McDaniel McAbee. She loved being a momma, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by two sons; Phillip Lemoine, Jr. and Justin Elmore; four daughters; Rita Roach, Lisa Lemoine, Tamara Wilkie and Joyce Pruitt; eight sisters; Jane Robins, Barbara Cosby, Darlene Bradbrun, Betty Bradbury, Nancy Garland, Rita White, Paula Cosby and Alice VanDyke. Grandchildren, Richard, Henry, Josh, Amber, Summer, Linda Elmore, Justin Elmore, Jessica Bradburn, Katie Bradburn, Haylee, Hannah, Harley, Caleb, Jason, Pam, and Thomas. Great Grandchildren; Jacob, Taylor, Damian, Jada, Austin, Nathan, Tylor, Daisy Mae, Jaxson, Nickolus, Ty, Dakota, Natalie, Deven, Jorden, Michael Jr., Raven Savannah, Ava, Madison, Makenzie, Nevaeh, Austin, Tayler, Colton, Bently, Hunter, Hayden, Layla, Matthew, Carter, Damon, Kayla, Alexis and Olivia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Don Whittenton and Glenn Ray McAbee, and a grandson Tim.

A gathering of friends and family will be 1:00 to 2:45 PM Sunday October 7, 2018 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside with the Pastor Kevin Whittington officiating the funeral service at 3:00 PM .
