Spartanburg -- Mrs Linda Sue Whitesides Alexander, 78, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019, at her home.

Born in Gastonia, she was the widow of Frank Asbury Alexander and the daughter of the late Major and Mamie Long Whitesides. Linda previously worked in the business office at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Surviving Mrs Alexander are a son, Mark Alexander and wife, Kimberly, of Fredericksburg, VA; a daughter, Jaclyn Cliatt and husband, Brent, of Campobello; a sister, Frances Whitesides Moss; and three grandchildren, Drew Alexander, Grace Alexander, and Caylee Cliatt.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by a brother, Major Franklin Whitesides Jr, and three sisters, Barbara Ann Whitesides, Jo Whitesides McPherson, and Lillie Whitesides Poole.

A graveside service for Mrs. Alexander will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
