Lisa was born July 6, 1977 to Jimmie Ray Grayson and Deborah Padgett Murray.  She worked in textiles for several years and was a Baptist.  She was an avid reader.

     She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reid and Genny Grayson.

     Besides her parents, survivors include her husband, Chuck Surratt; one son, Jordan Grayson; sister, Amy Murray and fiancé, Chris Brown of Del Ray Beach, Florida; one brother, Chris Grayson and wife, Nicole of Gastonia; step-father, John Murray of Caroleen and grandparents, Howard and Joyce Padgett of Caroleen.  She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Peggy Surratt of Forest City; three sisters-in-law, Pamela Shoemaker of Spindale, Angela Surratt and Brandi Surratt both of Forest City; brother-in-law, Chad Surratt of Gastonia and  a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Eternal Hills Cemetery with Reverend Travis McEntyre officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside at the cemetery.
