Lisa Marie Goode, age 44, of Forest City, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospital.
Born April 28, 1971 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Waters and Elizabeth Waters Hill. She worked at Fairhaven and Hillcrest Nursing Care as a CNA for several years and also waitressed at Dockside Restaurant and The Shake Shop for many years. Lisa was a member of the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. She was dedicated to helping people and was actively involved in several local support groups.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Goode; three brothers, Ronald, Joe and Rick Waters and sister, Mary Louise Waters.
Survivors include two daughters, Lesley Ward and husband, Matthew of Rutherfordton and Taylor Bracebridge and husband, James of Mooresboro; one son, Blake Goode of the home; three sisters, Jeanette Beck of the Chase community, Mary Conner and husband, Robbie of Ruth and Donna Hardin and husband, Curtis of Rutherfordton; four brothers, Carl Waters and wife, Diane of Spindale, Jimmy Waters and fiancé, Sandra of Ruth, Wade Waters and wife, Ann of Spindale and Troy Waters of Spindale; one step-daughter, Ashley Burns and husband, Matthew of Roebuck, SC. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jamie, Kendred, Zoe and three step-grandchildren, Kendyll, Kaliyah and Bracyn.
A memorial service will be conducted at five o'clock on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
