Lisa Viola Jones, 45, passed away at her residence on April 22, 2013. She was a native of Cleveland County, the daughter of Edward Leon and Peggy Annette Strickland Jones of Kings Mountain. Lisa was predeceased by a brother, Richard Jones. In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by a daughter, Hollie Lynn Jones; a sister, Penny Perry; one brother, Earnest Jones, all of Kings Mountain; and one granddaughter, Vaida Jones.
Lisa enjoyed life and being with friends and her family. She loved to travel to the beach and sit at the end of the pier and enjoy the ocean.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Lisa's life will be held at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, 618 Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Road, Kings Mountain, on Thursday April 25, 2013 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Greg Neely officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service. The Jones Family is being served by Robert S. Morgan, Jr. Funeral Service Licensee, LLC.
