Lloyd K. Ruppe, age 69, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Sunnyside Retirement Home.
Born on Sunday, January 5, 1947 in Ruston, Louisiana, he was a son to the late Donnie Clifton Ruppe and Charlene Dora Stewart Ruppe. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1968. He was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church and also attended the Church of the Exceptional. He enjoyed collecting baseball caps.
Survivors include one brother, Donnie S. Ruppe and wife, Mona of Cliffside; three sisters, Leuna Faye Kimsey and husband, Mike and Mildred Lee all of Cowpens, SC and Pamela Williams and husband, Ricky of Gainesville, Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Cliffside Baptist Church with Reverend Allen Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Cliffside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
