Lois Elizabeth Reese Hambright, 96, of Shelby Manor, 1176 Wyke Road, Shelby,
passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born in Catawba County on April 2, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Fred
Leander Reese Sr. and Mary Anna Smyre Reese. Mrs. Hambright was a member of
Eastside Baptist Church where she was active in the Ruth Class, Golden
Delights, and the Hillary Padgett Missionary Group. She worked for Shelby
Box Factory and later for thirty-seven years at Printing and Packaging.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Floyd Clyde
"Tom" Hambright; brothers, Ned, Wade, Lewis, Troy, Harold, Foy, and Hugh
Reese and sister, Helen Sherrill.

Mrs. Hambright is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Chip
Davis of Shelby and Rita and Carl Hamm of Maiden; brothers, Fred Reese Jr.
and Lee Reese of Hickory and Paul Reese of Minnesota; grandchildren, Allyson
Huntley of Mooresville, Eric Hamm and wife Candice of Morganton, Libby
Zaludek of Shelby, and Joey Fite of Shelby; great grandchildren, Jax
Zaludek, Max Zaludek and Reese Hamm.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm, Sunday, at
Eastside Baptist Church. A guest register is available at

Funeral: Services will be 3 pm, Sunday, at Eastside Baptist Church in
Shelby.
