Mrs. Lollie Eva Ledford, 101, of Lithia Springs Rd., Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Shelby. 

Mrs. Ledford was preceded in death by her husband, Hatcher Evans Ledford; her parents, Clem Franklin Hendrick and Lona Costner Hendrick; 4 brothers, Mal, John, Woodrow and Boyd Hendrick; 4 sisters, Vera Keener, Evelyn Devine, Charlene Hamrick and Euray Starnes; and 3 sisters-in-law, Marvin Barrett, Ben Davis, and Flay Sain.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Ruth L. Davis of Shelby, Dorothy L. Barrett of Charlotte and Edith L. Sain of Jacksonville, FL; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Hal Hendrick of Shelby; and 1 sister, Jeanette Kendrick of Aiken, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150; and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3932 Pleasant Grove Church Rd., Shelby, NC 28150.
