Mrs. Loretta Freeman Moore, 83, of Kings Mountain and formerly of Shelby, NC passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011. A private service and burial will be held.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Moore; her parents, H.G. Freeman and Ruth Wilson Freeman; 1 son, Dahl Moore; 1 brother, Sylvester Dahl Freeman; 1 granddaughter, Donna Thomas; and a son-in-law, Don Thomas.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Candace Thomas of Kings Mountain, NC; 2 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
