Mrs. Louise Bobbitt King, 95, resident of 401 Downing Drive, Kings Mountain, NC passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010. Services were held at Kings Mountain Baptist Church, Kings Mtn., NC. Burial followed in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mtn., NC. 

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Denver (Dink) Olan King; her parents, Hosie and Mary Parrish Bobbitt; 2 brothers, Ernest and Clarence Bobbitt; and 7 sisters, Irene Bobbitt, Josie Barnett, Ruth Bridges, Ruby Bridges, Carrie Hord, Rena Gault, and Wilma Deese.

She is survived by 1 son, Jerry L. King and wife Dr. Jane King, with whom she lived in the last days of her life; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
