Louise Suzanne McIntyre Canipe age 83 died Monday February 1, 2016 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Cleveland County on July 15, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Selma Elizabeth Melton McIntyre. Louise faithfully attended Lafayette Street United Methodist Church and was a member of Zion Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Louise enjoyed going shopping and was happiest when she was around her family. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Canipe and a daughter, Kimberly Canipe.

Louise is survived by three daughters, Debbie Uren and husband Ron of Winston Salem, Jan Meyer of Fort Mill SC., and Sherry Wallace and husband Gary of Shelby; three grandchildren, Kim McDonald, Mark Uren, and Michelle Blevins; seven great grandchildren, Hunter McDonald, Tyler McDonald, Jack Uren, Max Uren, Meredith Blevins, Brett Blevins, and Laney Blevins; and a host of other loving family members.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 11:00 am at Lafayette Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Arthur Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 10:00am until 11:00am in the fellowship hall.
