SHELBY-Louise Terry, 82, died Sun., Dec. 13, 2015, at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Mammie Lola Pruitt Philbeck. Louise was a loving and caring lady, who loved her family more than life. She enjoyed cooking, riding on boats and jet skis, and was a dedicated Christian with strong faith.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Terry Jr.; sisters, Pauline Moore, Betty Lorene Warren, and Ethel Daves; brother, Robert Philbeck.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Tommy Terry and girlfriend, Pam Hamrick; daughters, Margie Terry Bowen and Teri Ellison and husband Ronald, all of Shelby; grandchildren, Hillary Padgett, Jerry L. Bowen, Dr. Heather Ellison and husband Dr. James Magar, Jonathan and Casey Hamrick, Dustin Smith, Zachary Dakota Terry, Stephanie Hamrick, and Kelsey T. Bowen, all of Shelby; six great-grandchildren; half-brothers, Kenneth, William, and Eugene Philbeck; good friend, Claude Burns of Kings Mountain; sister-in-law, Boots Osborne of Shelby; and many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Thursday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 12:30-2pm, Thursday, at the funeral home

BURIAL: will follow in Sunset Cemetery

CLERGY: Rev. Jackie Price will officiate
