Lucille Dailey Wells
Lucille Dailey Wells, age 88, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Hospice House.
     Lucille was born November 13, 1924 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late William H. Dailey and Sarah Elizabeth Boone Dailey.  She worked for both Cone Mills and Burlington Industries for many years and was a member of Chase Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  She was a wonderful homemaker who loved visiting shut-ins and going to the Senior Citizens Center.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Robbie Dailey; two husbands, Jack Radford and Jack Wells; three brothers and six sisters.
     Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Evelyn Levon Morehead of Ellenboro, Alice Faye Wood and husband, Donnie of Forest City and Pat Blackwell of Seneca, SC; one son, Edward Devon Radford and wife, Tonda of Forest City; one sister, Delcie Head of Raleigh.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Butler officiating.  Interment will follow in the Caroleen-Avondale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  At other times they will be gathered at 358 Long Branch Road.
