Gaffney -- Lucille Hullender Parris, 90, of 101 Park Court, passed away Monday, February 29th, 2016, at Magnolias of Gaffney.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Clinton Parris and the daughter of the late Charlie Hlullender and Mary Clary Hullender. Mrs. Parris retired from textiles and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Parris is survived by one daughter, Johnnie Parris; four grandchildren,five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Denise Hinkle; one brother, L.D. Hullender; and two sisters, Ethel Hardin and Kathern McPherson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church 1284 East Cherokee Street Blacksburg, SC 29702. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Knotts, Robert Clark, and Bobby Collins officiating. Entombment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens Masoleum. Ernie Hardin, Jimmy Davis, Clint Davis, Leonard Mullinax, and Robbie Clark will serve as pallbearers.
