Luis Alfonso “Fonfy” Orlandi, 86, of County Line Rd., died May 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born on January 11, 1927 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Domingo and Catalina Delgado Orlandi. Luis was a retired language instructor for the military, served faithfully and retired from US Coast Guard, and was a member of Mary’s Grove United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers.
Survived by his wife of 54 years Dankie Sellers Orlandi,, son Nicholas V. Orlandi and wife Caroline Orlandi, daughter Laura M. Orlandi Kepner and husband David C. Kepner, grandchildren Jordan C. Orlandi, Cameron M. Orlandi, and Jenna M. Kepner and a brother Fred Seigas..
A Memorial grave side service will be held Wednesday at 4 PM at Mary’s Grove United Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Charlene Hutchings officiating. The family will receive friends after the services.
