| Luther Philip Baker, III, age 59, resident of Kings Mountain NC passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born on October 22, 1951 in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Luther Philip Baker, Jr. He was grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. L.P. Baker, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Hughes. He graduated from Kings Mountain High School, and studied History at N.C. State College. He was employed for 30 years by Cleveland County as a communications technician. Recognized as an avid photographer he taught photography at Cleveland Community College for many years. He was a lifetime member of Resurrection Lutheran Church fulfilling many positions within the church including the church choir and church treasurer.
