Mrs. Madge Beam Whitworth, 100, of 2211 Capernaum Rd., Waco, NC, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. Services were held at Waco Baptist Church. Burial followed in Capernaum Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitworth was preceded in death by her parents, David Marcus Beam and Ada Sperling Beam; 1 son, John Olin Whitworth, Jr.; 3 sisters, Pearl Allen, Geneve Hord, and Marie Williams; and 3 brothers, Talmadge, Jim and David Beam.
She is survived by 1 son, Hoyle Lee Whitworth and wife Sue of Charlotte; 1 sister, Margaret Allen and husband Jimmy of Denver; 1 brother, Charles S. Beam and wife Betty of Columbia, SC; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
