Maggie Felmet Willis, 90 of Will Hudson Road, Lawndale passed away,
Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare System- Blue Ridge,
Morganton.

Born April 8, 1927 in Edgefield, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the
late Carl William Felmet and Bertha Beatrice Wright Felmet. She was retired
from Sherrill's Furniture in Morganton. Mrs. Willis was a member of Laurel
Hill United Methodist Church where she was a Senior Citizens Sunday school
teacher.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight
Harden Willis; three brothers, W.C. Felmet, Dale Felmet and Jerry Felmet and
two sisters, Margareat May and Sue Randall.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Willis and wife, Dianne and Ervil Willis
and wife, Sylvia all of Lawndale and Steve Willis and wife, Brenda of Vale;
two daughters, Tresia Willis of Icard and Sylvia Propst and husband, Steve
of Lawndale; sister, Ruth Willis of Vale; 9 grandchildren, 20 great
grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00PM until 6:00PM Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday at Laurel Hill United Methodist
Church with Revs. Cathy Turman and Ed Lynn officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
