Marcus Robert Mull, 82, of 134 Cap Wright Rd. in Lawndale, passed away Monday June 17, 2013 at home.
Born September 2, 1930 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Pete Mull and Essie Costner Mull. He was retired from REA in Cherryville after thirty eight years of service as a crewleader first class lineman and twelve years at the Recycle Center in Shelby. He was an avid hunter and religious gardner and was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Mull and a sister, Dorothy McCurry.
Survivors include his wife of fifty eight years, Ellen Bingham Mull, son, Michael Mull of Lawndale, two grandchildren, Travis Mull of Lawndale and Candace Mull of Kings Mountain, two brothers, Walter Mull of Waco and Wayne Mull of Iron Station, and five sisters, Betty Mellon of Kings Mountain, Pat Carpenter of Waco, Marlene Parker, Jeanette Canipe, and Elaine Shoup all of Casar.
Visitaion will be 1:00PM until 2:00PM Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 2:00PM Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jack Waters, Norris Willis, and Travis Mull officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
