Margaret Beam Neely, age 92, a resident of 312 Mulberry Road, Grover, NC, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, Shelby, NC. She was born in Cherokee County, SC, daughter of the late Samuel Monroe and Mollie Brown Beam, and was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. An active member of Bethany Baptist Church, she was a former Sunday School teacher, choir member and church secretary. She loved to work word puzzles and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and MawMaw and a friend of everyone. She retired from Minette Mills, Grover after 42 years.
