Margaret Bennett Mull, 93, of 7768 Old NC 18 , Connelly Springs, passed away
Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care in Valdese.

She was born on April 14, 1921, in Mitchell County, to the late Roscoe
Bennett and Rissie Riddle Bennett. She was retired from Hickory Springs and
was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe
Willard Mull; son. R.L. Bennett; stepson, Charles Mull; five brothers,
Harold Bennett, S.J. Bennett, Hobert Bennett, Ralph Bennett, and Howard
Bennett; and sister, Annie Tolley.

She is survived by two daughters, Elene Hughes of Belmont and Doris
Honeycutt of Connelly Springs; stepson Bill Mull of Hickory; two
stepdaughters, Janette Parker of Connelly Springs and Vickie Metcalf of
Vale; 19 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, at Zion
Hill Baptist Church , Lawndale. Condolences may be made online at

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, at Zion Hill Baptist
Church, Lawndale with the Rev. Allan Barlow and Rev. Robert Gittens
officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
