Margaret Carroll Morton, 91 of Shelby passed away, Friday November 10, 2017
at her residence.

She was born September 17, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late William Edgar
Carroll and Maude Connor Carroll. She was a member of Friendship United
Methodist Church and was the former owner and operator of Silk Screen
Printers, Charlotte.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Donald Chester
Morton and three brothers, James Lee Carroll, Roy Clyde Carroll and William
Edgar Carroll, Jr.

Survivors include a son, Marcus William Morton and wife Patricia of
Hollywood, FL; a daughter-in-law, Karen Morten of Cooper City, FL; three
grandchildren, Valarie Renee Morton, Janet Lynn Morton and Kathryn Morton;
two brothers, Jimmy Carroll and wife, Kathy of Lawndale and Billy Eugene
Carroll and wife, Blanche of Lexington, Kentucky; a sister, Joan C. Harmon
of Kings Mountain and a sister-in-law, Martha Helen Carroll of Lawndale.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday at Cleveland Memorial Park
Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Dennis Bean officiating.

Visitation will follow the graveside service.
