Margaret Conner Wood, age 76, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2015 at Peak Resources, Shelby, NC. She was born in Cherokee Co., SC to the late Fred Alexander and Ollie Hawkins Conner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Lee Wood; daughter, Debbie Wood Green; and brother, Billy Gene Conner. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and retired from Clevemont Mills, Kings Mtn. NC. She was a good Christian Lady who enjoyed singing and hosting a country and gospel singing twice a month at her home. She was a sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
