Margaret Lee Davis White, age 72, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Cleveland County on October 26, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Everette Lee and Pauline White Davis. Margaret was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her church family and singing in the Senior Choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and walking on the beach. She loved her pastor Dr. Rit Varriale.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dan White; a son Bryan White and wife Lindy of Belwood; a daughter Donna White of Shelby; and three grandchildren, Shawn Strickland, Chasity Walker and husband Johnathan, and Lainey White.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Dr. Rit Varriale officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
