Margaret Rippy Davis, 88, resident of 210 Morris St, Kings Mountain, NC, died December 29, 2012 at Hospice Wendover, Shelby, NC. Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late V.C. Rippy and Geneva Ham Rippy. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Rippy and a sister, Mildred Gladden. She was retired from Kinmont and she was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC.
SURVIVORS: Husband: Nathan Davis, Kings Mountain, NC;
Sons: Sonny Parker and wife Patsy, Crouse, NC Kenny Parker and wife Vickie, Kings Mountain, NC; Roger Parker and wife Brenda, Bumpass, Virginia.
Daughters: Dee Dee Howell and husband Ken, Grover, NC; Mona Hinson and husband Eddie and Myra Price and husband Eddie, all of Kings Mountain, NC.
Sisters: May Hambright of York, SC and Peggy Wingo, Kings Mountain, NC.
11 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Wednesday, January 2, 2013, 2:00 PM, Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC with the Rev. Keith Parker officiating.
