Margie Eleanor Owens Jones, 66 of 1213 Scenic Drive, Shelby passed away
February 6, 2016 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born March 11, 1949 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of Mabel Toney
Owens and the late Carl Lee Owens, Jr. She was retired from FASCO and was a
member of Eastside Baptist Church.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Owens
and a sister, Rebecca Dalton.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Ralph Edward Jones; mother, Mabel
Toney Owens; daughter, Robin Short and husband, Dale of Toluca; three
grandchildren, Hannah Short, Matthew Short and Cody Short; brother, Donald
Owens of Youngstown, OH and brother-in-law, Harold D. Jones and wife, Donna
Gail Jones of Lawndale.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Eastside Baptist Church with
Rev. Dale Byrd and Rev. Jackie Price officiating. The body will be placed
in the church thirty minutes before the service.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
