Mrs. Margie McEntyre Archer, 77, of 238 E. Marion Street, Shelby, NC passed away Monday, December 20, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, Shelby. Entombment follow in Cleveland Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Archer was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Archer; her parents, Walter and Dora Burgess McEntyre; 2 brothers, Kenneth Gilbert and Willie Jr. McEntrye; and 1 sister, Evelyn White.
She is survived by 1 son, Michael Archer and wife Kathy of Kings Mountain; 2 daughters, Carolyn Bradley of Shelby and Elaine Price and husband Donald of Bessemer City; 1 brother, Joel McEntyre of Mooresboro; 1 sister, Shirley Carroll of Shelby; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, Shelby, NC is serving the family.
