Mrs. Margie McEntyre Archer, 77, of 832 E. Main St., Shelby, NC passed away Monday, December 20, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. Archer was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dora Burgess McEntyre; 2 brothers, Kenneth Gilbert, Willie Jr. McEntyre; and 1 sister, Evelyn White.

She is survived by her husband, Preston Archer of the home; 1 son, Michael Archer and wife Kathy of Kings Mountain; 2 daughters, Carolyn Bradley of Kings Mountain, and Elaine Price and husband Donald of Bessemer City; 1 brother, Joel McEntyre of Mooresboro; 1 sister, Shirley Carroll of Shelby; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
