Mrs. Margie Moses, 81, of Phillips Dr., died Sun., Aug. 4, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Dellinger Starnes.  She was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Moses Sr.;  three sons, William Jr., Danny, and Carroll Wayne Moses; grandson, Jack Joshua Moses; and sister, Lydia Fite

SURVIVED: She is survived by her two sons, Steve Moses of Kings Mountain, and John Moses and wife Velda of Bessemer City; daughter, Linda Stokes of Shelby; sister, Louise Canipe and husband Ray of Kings Mountain; four brothers, Don Starnes and wife Barbara of Kings Mountain, Mack Starnes and wife Faye of Boiling Springs, Roy Starnes and wife Daphyne, and Dink Starnes and wife Jane, all of Kings Mountain; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

SERVICES:  Wednesday, 11AM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

VISITATION:  The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5:30 -7PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, and other times at her home.
