Mrs. Marie Kathleen Glover Towery, 92, of 6753 Casar Rd., Lawndale, NC, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston, NC.
Mrs. Towery was preceded in death by her parents, John Pinkney Glover and Cornelia Johnson Glover; 1 son, Cecil Towery; 4 brothers; 1 sister; an 1 grandchild,
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Cecil Raie Towery; 1 son, Hairl Towery of Lawndale; 1 daughter, Lena McNeilly and husband James; 5 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
