Marietha "Aunt Jane" Joyce Lineberger Hawkins, 78, of 932 Costner Rd,
Shelby, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House
in Kings Mountain.
Mrs. Hawkins was born in Catawba County on January 13, 1934 to the late
Charles Dowd Lineberger and Myrtle Lee Propst Lineberger. She was retired
from Carolina Mills as a payroll clerk and was a member of Plainsview
Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence
Daniel Hawkins and brother Buster Lineberger.
She is survived by her daughter Tanya Jayne Hawkins of Shelby; two brothers;
Dean Lineberger of Maiden and Franklin Lineberger of Lawndale; and two
sisters Pam Watkin of Winston-Salem and Dorothy Hodge of Maiden.
The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Plainsview
Baptist Church , Lawndale. Condolences may be made online at

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Plainsview Baptist Church , Lawndale.
Officiating, Dr. Ernest Speagle.
Interment, Maiden Cemetery, Maiden.
