Marilyn Patricia Hull Godfrey, 55, of 1993 Leonhardt Rd., Cherryville,
passed away Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical
Center.

Born March 5, 1960 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Warren
Ray Hull and Muriel Lean Workman Hull. She was formerly employed at Drexel
Heritage, Bradington Young and Carolina Care Center. She was a member of
Bess Chapel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law,
Charles Godfrey, two brothers-in-law, Robert & David Godfrey, and one
nephew, Donnie Vernon.

Survivors include her husband of thirty six years, Charles Walter Godfrey,
one son & daughter-in-law, Shane & Jacki Godfrey, four grandchildren, Cadon
Godfrey Hull, Brennan Godfrey, Mikayla Godfrey and Ryleigh Boggs, one
brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Trisha Hull of Arden, one sister and
brother-in-law, Tammie & Mitch Carver of Mt. Holly, mother-in-law, Ruth
Godfrey of Cherryville, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eddie & Sarah
Farmer, Wayne & Judy Godfrey and Barbara Godfrey all of Cherryville, and a
number of nieces & nephews.

Visitation: 6:00PM until 8:00PM Friday at Stamey Cherryville Funeral Home &
Cremation Service.

The funeral service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Bess Chapel United Methodist
Church with Revs. Bill Taylor, Randi Godfrey and Jeff Hull officiating. The
body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
