Marion L. Carlson, age 56, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Worcester, MA she was the daughter of the late Charles David and Waltraud Erika Kammerdiener Carlson. Marion was the Teller Supervisor for PNC Bank in Rutherfordton.
She is survived by her sister, Deborah Carlson of Pawtucket, RI, and her sister from another mother Christina Wease of Forest City.
Memorial services will be held 6:30 PM Friday, October 19 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Raymond Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends at 6 PM prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043, Relay For Life or any Breast Cancer organization of the donor’s choice.
At Marion’s request, those attending the Memorial Service are asked to wear pink in her honor.
