| Marion S. Cash, 84, of 320 Possum Trot Road, passed away Saturday, May 14th, 2011, at his residence.
Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Cash was the widower of Helen Elizabeth Page Cash and the son of the late Marion Ashford and Minnie Grace Williams Cash. He retired as an electrician, was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Cash is survived by two daughters, Teresa Love and her late husband, Forest, and Sandra Bullocks and husband, Freddie, all of Blacksburg; a sister, Betty Ricks, of Gastonia; three grandchildren, Daniel Love and wife, Anna, of Blacksburg, Cristy Ramsey and husband, Greg, of Shelby, and Page Hasson and husband, Jim, of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada; and four great-grandchildren, Katherine Love of Blacksburg and Chance, Ella, and Gant Ramsey of Shelby.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Cash was preceded in death by four sisters, Alice Mayberry, Flonnie Correll, Nancy Clarke, and Dessie Whetstine.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 16th, 2011, from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 17th, at 3:00pm at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Rev. Larry Laws and Rev. Dennis Badger officiating.
