| Mr. Mark “Kone” Harvey Hayes, 35, of 208 Bradley Road, Shelby, NC, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 1, 2010. A Graveside Service was held in Sunset Cemetery, Shelby.
Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Fitchue Hayes and Linda Devonne Ellis Hayes; and 1 sister, Rita Devonne Hayes.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Taylor Blair Hayes and Devan Devonne Hayes, both of Shelby; his former wife, Randi Marshall Burnette; 1 brother, Eric Fitchue Hayes and fiancé, Meg Armstrong of Pelham, Australia; 3 sisters, Mary Ann Morrison, and Belinda “Lynn” Edwards, both of Shelby, and Cynthia Wood and husband Mike of Vale, NC; 7 nephews; 1 niece; 3 great-nephews; 2 great-nieces; and many other relatives and close friends.
