Martha Haynes, age 75 of Forest City, died Friday, August 28, 2015 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born October 14, 1939 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Earl B. Greene and Edith Duncan Greene. She was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1947 and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Rutherfordton. Martha served as the church secretary and organist for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Carver.
Survivors include her son, Mike Carver and wife, Babe of Ocala, Florida; one sister, Polly Greene Lowery and husband, James C. of Ellenboro; nephew, Jeffery Lowery and niece, Karen Bailey and husband, Ken all of the Shiloh Community.
No formal services will be conducted.
