Martha Hord Goforth, age 102, resident of 1110 Shelby Road, Kings Mountain went to be with the Lord January 8, 2016 at Testa Family Hospice House. She was born in Cleveland Co, NC, to the late William M. and Charity Kellar Hord. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bun E. Goforth, and brother's Charlie, Jake, Horace, Bill and Kiser and sister's Elizabeth, Beatrice, Frances and Dot. She was a very active member of Central United Methodist church where she was a member for many years. She was retired from Fultons Department Store.
