Martha Jones Hardin Bailey, 76, of Jones Lane, Ellenboro, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Rutherford County, she was born on May 08, 1937, a daughter of the late Austin Jones and Nora Wilson Jones. She retired from Stonecutter Mills and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved being a homemaker and going camping.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Bailey; two sons, Danny Hardin of Gaffney and Richard Hardin and wife Debbie of Ellenboro; one brother, Edmond Jones of Forest City; seven grandchildren, Vallarie Butler, Christopher Hardin, Scott Hardin, Travis Hardin, Dennis Hardin, Terry Hardin, and Christine Hardin; three great grandchildren, Destiny Butler, Bo Butler and Riley Hardin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Sepaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
