Mr. Martin Edward “Babe” Green, 62, of 193 Cap Wright Rd., Lawndale, NC, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston, NC. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Green and Louise Alice Williams Green.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Angela Dorsey and husband Chris of Fallston, and Tammy McKown and husband Scott of Lawndale; 5 brothers, Marvin Green, James Green, Hugh Green, Hal Green and Wayne Green, all of Lawndale; 3 sisters, Betty Haynes, Evelyn Ballard and Ellen Jones, all of Lincolnton; 4 grandchildren; and a loving friend, Vickie Mendenhall.
