Cherryville – Mrs. Mary Buchanan Faire, 88, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Kings Mountain Hospice House with her family and pastor at her bedside.
Mary was born in Northern Ireland a daughter of the late James and Annie Buchanan. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church of Cherryville, NC, where she loved singing in the choir.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Lester Faire, and her brother.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Sellers and husband Harvey of Cherryville and Barbara Autry of Sarasota, FL; a son Jim Faire and wife Judy of Cumming, GA; and five grandchildren, Erin and Patrick Sellers, Michael and Brian Faire, and Leigh Mode.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 9:45 to 10:45AM at First Presbyterian Church in Cherryville.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday November 24, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Bill Lowe officiating.
Burial will be in Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.
