| Mary Ella S. Blanton, 93, of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Services were held at First Baptist Church, Webb Chapel. Burial was held in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Blanton was preceded in death by her husband Everette Frank Blanton and her parents, John H. Southard and Fannie Davis Southard.
She is survived by her son and his wife, John F. Blanton and wife, Betty Jean of Shelby; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and one long-time housekeeper and caregiver, Debbie Woods of Shelby, and numerous nieces and nephews.
