Mrs. Mary Evelyn Lail, 86, of 107 Forrest Dr., Shelby, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Services were held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, Shelby, NC. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lail was preceded in death by her parents, Allie and Mammie Lankford Trammel; 1 son, Rick Lail; and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Gorman “Mutt” Lail of the home; 3 sons, Hal Lail and Terry Lail, both of Shelby, and Tim Lail and wife Valerie of Ellenboro, NC; and 3 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
