MOORESBORO - Mary Kathryn Swing Padgett, 89, of Old Mooresboro Road, Mooresboro, died on Friday, April 10, 2015 at her residence. A native of Mecklenburg County, she was born on December 08, 1925, a daughter of the late Fred Swing and Nancy Lewis Swing. She was retired from Cone Mills Corporation and was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noyce L. Padgett, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy White of Cliffside; one brother, Jimmy Swing of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Brian L. White and wife Heather of Cliffside and Jamie White and wife Teri of Harris; her great grandchildren, Tyler White, Blair White, Mason White and Sadie White.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Cliffside Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Fleming and Rev. Joey Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cliffside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm before the service.
