Mary P. Gragg, age 86, resident of Kings Mountain, NC formerly of Gastonia, NC went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospital.  She was born in Lincolnton, GA to the late Leon Reese and Winnie Bohler Reese.   She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Wade Prestwood and Jay Gragg.     She was a member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and a retired Insurance salesperson.   She loved flowers and working in her yard as well as helping others in their yards.  She was a very giving person who was always willing to help others.

Daughter: Donna P. Hayes and husband Mickey, Myrtle Beach, SC

Brother: William “Billy” Reese, Lincolnton, GA

Sister: Shirley Carden, Savannah, GA

4 Grandchildren: Wendy Hayes Hooks and husband Chuck

Jennifer Edwards and husband Jerry

Jason Rhyne

3 Great Grandchildren: Mary Elizabeth Hucks, Seth Edwards, and Mason Prestwood.

  2:00 P.M.    Rev. Mike Chambers, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 prior to the service in the sanctuary of Christian Freedom Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: Christian Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
