SHELBY- Mary "Toby" Glendlyon Lawing Hamrick, 90, died Sat., March 25, 2017 A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Mary Vickers Lawing. She was a faithful member of Aldersgate UMC.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manning Preston Hamrick; sisters, Guynell Lawing Jones and Geneva Sue Lawing; and niece, Jane Henson Fountain.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Mary Florance Hamrick Miller and husband Steve of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Mary Anne Miller Mouthaan and husband Phil of Charleston, SC, and Manning Edward Miller of Vidalia, GA; great-grandchildren, Mary Allen Mouthaan; nephews and nieces, Gregory Lawing Jones, Bill Francis, Bob Francis, Cheryl Francis Rogers, Tim Hamrick, and Florence Hamrick. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Cleveland County, Helping Hands, Young at Heart and Bayliss Sunday School of Aldersgate UMC, WalGreens #10891 Pharmacy Staff on E. Dixon Blvd., Bojangles #859 staff on W. Dixon Blvd., and the friends and neighbors that supported, helped and loved Toby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5-7pm, at her home

ENTOMBMENT: Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 11am, in Cleveland Memorial Park Mausoleum

OFFICIATING: Rev. Haywood Morrison will officiate
